Contact
For a lockout happening now, call. The form is for jobs that can wait an hour or a day: a spare key, rekeying after a move, an ignition that is getting stiff.
Phone
Serving Milwaukee, Wauwatosa, West Allis, Shorewood, Whitefish Bay and Greenfield. Calls may be recorded — see the disclosure.
What to have ready
Nothing is required, but these make the call much shorter.
- For a car: year, make and model, push-start or turn key, and whether any working key exists
- The VIN if you can see it through the windshield, at the base on the driver side
- For a door: the address, whether you rent or own, and the kind of lock if you know it
- Where you will be waiting, if that is not where the car or door is
- Whether anyone is inside a locked car. If so, hang up and call 911 first.
What happens when you call
The number reaches us, and the call goes through to one local locksmith company that covers your area. Ask them for the total price, including the service call, before they set off. They will also tell you roughly when they can get there; that depends on them, the time and the weather, and nobody on this site can promise it for them.
What can be settled on the phone
A lot. Whether your fob problem is a battery. Whether your car can be keyed at the curb or needs the dealer. Whether rekeying is enough after a move. Whether a damaged ignition is a lock job or a mechanic's job.
What cannot be settled without seeing it is the rare surprise: a lock that has failed internally, a car whose security system needs more than the usual procedure. A straight company tells you that before work starts and gives you a new total to accept or refuse.
Calls are recorded
You will hear a short announcement before the call connects. Wisconsin allows a call to be recorded with one party's consent, but this site is operated from Florida, which requires everyone's consent, so the announcement plays on every call. Recordings exist so a price agreed on the phone is not misremembered later. If you would rather not be recorded, use the form.

Common questions
Can I text instead of calling?
Not at the moment. Call, or use the form and say whether a call or a text back suits you better.
Is the form slower?
Yes. It is read and passed on, then the company calls you. For a lockout happening now, call instead.
Or send a request
Give the year, make and model of the car, or the kind of door, and where you are. One local locksmith company reads it and calls you back with a price.
