About Milwaukee Lock Pros

We are an advertising and referral service for lock and key work in Milwaukee. We are not a locksmith. In a trade known for listings that pretend to be local shops, you should know exactly what this site is before you call it.

How it works

You call the number on this site or send a request. That reaches us, and the call or request goes to an independent locksmith company that works in Milwaukee and the suburbs next to it. They give you the price, they do the job, and your agreement is with them. There is no charge to you for the introduction, and we do not add anything to what they charge.

Why the site exists

Search for a locksmith in Milwaukee and a good share of what comes back is directories, national call centres and listings with local-sounding names and no local shop. Meanwhile a lot of good automotive locksmiths here are one or two people with a van full of key machines and programmers, who are busy doing the work and have no interest in building a website. This site is the front door they do not have, written by people who would rather explain the bait quote than profit from it.

What we will and won't tell you

The guides are written about Milwaukee: the January cold, the overnight parking ban, the duplexes, the Kia and Hyundai theft wave and what it left behind in people's steering columns. Where the honest answer is that a fob needs a three-dollar battery rather than a new fob, or that your car needs the dealer rather than a locksmith, that is what the pages say. Nothing here explains how to get past a lock, and nothing ever will.

What this site does not have

No testimonials, no star ratings, no photos of jobs. We have not done the work and did not collect the reviews, so publishing either would be inventing a track record. The photographs on the site are licensed stock and show the kind of thing the pages talk about, not jobs anyone here carried out. Judge the site on whether the advice is accurate and useful.

Licensing

Wisconsin does not license locksmiths at the state level, and we found no City of Milwaukee locksmith licence. So there is no licence number for us to show, and none for the company either. We hold no locksmith or contractor licence and make no claim to one. Check any locksmith the same way: the legal business name in the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions corporate records search, a written price before work, an invoice with a name and address, and for car keys, registration with NASTF as a Vehicle Security Professional.

Questions people actually ask

How do you make money if the call is free?

The locksmith company that takes the job pays for the introduction. You pay them for the work at the price you agree, and nothing you pay is affected by us.

Is this one of those call centres?

It is a referral service, and it says so on every page. The difference that matters is where the call goes: to one independent local company, not to whichever subcontractor happens to be nearest.

Will lots of locksmiths call me back?

No. Your request goes to one company. If they cannot help, they will say so.

What if the job goes wrong?

Your agreement is with the company that did the work, so take it up with them first. Tell us too. The model only works if the company we point people at is good, so we want to know.

Can I see reviews?

Not from us. This site launched in 2026 and has no review history of its own, and we will not manufacture one. Ask the company for references and look them up yourself.

Ask about a lock or key

Give the year, make and model of the car, or the kind of door, and where you are. One local locksmith company reads it and calls you back with a price. Call any time · overnight cover is set by the locksmith on call Or call (414) 296-3124 — if you are locked out right now, calling is faster than the form.
